Troop 84 Vision:

Troop 84 operates according to the Scout Oath and Scout Law, and follows the guidance of the National Council of BSA. In particular, the Scouting program has no room for hazing, bullying or any other inappropriate behavior that affects the core values of our program. We are here to help one another to have the best experience possible for boys in our troop.

The troop’s adult leaders will be responsible for providing guidance, leading the troop through mentoring and instructing the Patrol Leaders as they accept new adventures and challenges which in turn helps them to develop leadership skills. We believe that the effectiveness of troop as a whole benefit from patrol system where boys formed groups of varying ages to help each other in their activities.  This system provides them the opportunities to nurture team spirit and cohesiveness without stifling their creativity. Their individual contribution of ideas towards their patrol gives character and unique identity.

Finally, the success of the troop includes everyone, youth, adult leaders and volunteering parents who believes that the future of America are in the hands of our young leaders of today.
