Klondike assesment

We met at our campsite in the pitch black with snow on the ground. We unpacked the troop and personal gear
and set up all of the canopies. We set up everyone’s tents and shortly after, we went to sleep. In the morning, we had
“Mountain Man” for breakfast. It was one of the new scouts first Boy Scout meals.
After breakfast we started to split up
to start the competitions. There were six competitions in total; fire building, shelter building, first aid, team building,
travois racing, and “Paul Bunyan”. The new scouts were competing on one team, and the rest of us competed on another. It
was very fun, and everyone had a good time. For lunch we ate grilled cheese and soup, and for dinner we ate spaghetti.
After that we relaxed, talked, and goofed around for the rest of the night.
In the morning we had a short chapel service in the dinning hall. We took down all of the tents and canopies,
loaded the personal and troop gear into the trailer and left the camp. We then returned to the church to put away the
troop gear and we headed home.
