Life to Eagle Transition
May 7th, 7 pm at Roundtable. All Scouts Star and Life should go to this meeting. This will outline a clear path of everything you will need to know and do to make the path to Eagle easy to understand and flow faster without all the confusion. Everyone will need to wear their full uniforms and merit badge sashes.

Post Office Food Drive
May 11th, 11 am. The church Food Bank have asked for our help to receive, unload and sort the canned food as it arrives at the church. Everyone wear your yellow Troop tee shirts. The Church, Food Bank and our Community are depending on us, so lets lets all be there and give it our best! Come early and enjoy a pancake breakfast, (8-10 am), before going to work.

Pack 349 Crossover
May 13th, 7 pm. We need a group of Scouts in full dress uniform to help with the ceremony, we will work a process to choose those Scouts at our next meeting. We need to be there for our new Scouts, they need to feel like they are welcome as well as being an active part of our Troop.

Chesapeake Bay Trip
May 18-19th – The Troop will leave early Saturday morning and drive to Mr Sinclair’s Place. There will be fishing, crabbing, swimming, kite flying, cooking on the beach etc. We pitch our tents along the beach and spend the night, we head back Sunday afternoon. Fun time to be had by all! More info soon.

Sweet Dreams
May 31-Jun 1st – This is a fun community service camp-out. We arrive on Friday evening around 5:30 pm and have the pool to our selves for two hours!  Those that need swim test for advancement this will be an opportunity for you. After swimming we have a cookout and set up camp for the night. We are security for the site so we take turns patrolling the area. 

On Saturday morning we get up early and break camp and prepare for the day. We break up into several teams, one to promote Scouting, one to help the event staff, one to help out at Elementary School cleaning tables at the pancake breakfast, and finnally one group walks around and has fun. The groups will rotate shifts so everyone gets a turn. We wrap up around 3 pm. More info later.
